A bachelor's or higher from an accredited American college or university. We see the diploma and the transcript, and we ask the registrar.
A state teaching license, or a TEFL, TESOL or CELTA of at least 120 hours with real classroom practice. We check it with the issuer.
An FBI Identity History Summary or a state police check, dated within the last twelve months. Anything involving children, violence or drugs ends it.
A US citizen who grew up speaking English in the United States, and a twenty-minute video call with Ben, in English, before the name goes up.

Logos is the old Greek word for both the word and the reason behind it. That is what an American teacher brings into a Thai classroom or a family's living room that a textbook cannot: the way an American classroom argues and asks questions and speaks up; the habit of standing in front of a room and telling a story; the idiom of American business, film, sport and song; the accent that Thai parents ask for by name. A teacher: bring the offer you are looking at and we go through it — what the package is really worth in that province, what to ask the school in writing, what the warning signs are. A parent or an employer: tell him what you need and he tells you plainly what is realistic and what it costs at the top of the market. There is nothing to buy at the end of it.
Status on October 18, 2026: no teacher has yet completed all four checks, so no name is published. The first profile goes up the day its fourth check clears, with the date, and this line changes the same day. That is what an honest launch looks like.
